Method of obtaining the stamp of the marriage contract from the Secretary General of the Real Estate Registration Authority next to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry First: The marriage contract process and the marriage contract for foreigners is completed in the Ministry of Justice in Lazoghly Square in Cairo – The Foreigners Marriage Office – the fourth floor, by following the stages and fulfilling the following conditions: – 1- The presence of the husband and wife in their person. 2- The presence of two witnesses in addition to a family stamp (to be purchased from the Tahrir Academy in Cairo). 3- That the age difference between the spouses is appropriate and should not exceed 25 years.
4- The foreign wife’s residence in Egypt must be for a purpose other than tourism. (A stamp of a temporary residence must be obtained on her passport from the Passports and Immigration Department at the Tahrir Complex in Cairo). 5- The husband and wife should not be less than 21 years old. 6- Presenting a certificate from the foreign party (the wife) who is willing to marry her embassy located in Cairo, with her marital status, age and religion. (A witness must prove testimony of religion, whether Christian or Jewish, because the law prohibits marriage to an atheist). 7- Presenting another certificate from the foreign party (the wife) who wants to marry his embassy, stating that her country is not reluctant to marry.
Second: – After completing the required papers and procedures, the Ministry of Justice located in Lazoughly Square in Cairo (Foreigners Marriage Office – Fourth Floor) will be directed to, and all previous precautions will be made at the Foreigners Marriage Office.
Third: After completing the termination and documentation of the marriage contract and receiving the contract, it is stamped from the relevant real estate month and located next to the Bar Association in Cairo, and then it is authenticated by any documentation office affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (Office of Certifications). After completing all the documentation procedures, the rest of the procedures are met in the embassy of the foreign wife and each embassy has its own requirements and requests to end the marriage procedures through it so that the husband is legally ready to travel and join his wife.
